My laptop suddenly stopped booting up. Tried everything reading other forums posted ( problems with SWG1 &SWG2). Still doesn't work. Seems like keyboard power button is not working. Can anyone tell me is there any other way to turn on the laptop other than using internal keyboard power button so that I can either set it to wake on USB or wake on open lid because I don't want to spend on replacing keyboard and Acer doesn't get good enough with the keyboard as I've already replaced keyboard 4 times. Please help. Thanks in advance

Thank you for your interest and participation in the Acer Support Forums, I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your notebook.

Have you tried the battery reset?  Here is a video that may help with it.

The pinhole in your model will be find as image bellow:

@Acer-Ingrid I've tried all these things. But actual thing is the power button was not working because some keys were not working in keyboard which turned out to be power button. This is not the first time I'm facing this issue. So I was asking is there any alternative way to turn on laptop other than using power button??

I am sorry to hear it is not the first time it occurs, there is not a alternative way that I can think of, in this case I would highly recommend to contact your local Acer support channel to have the unit sent for repair.
