How do I know what type of RAM and HDD are compatible with my Nitro 5?

So I recently bought a Nitro 5 AN515-54, here are the specs:
CPU: i5-9300H
RAM: 8gb
GPU: GeForce GTX 1650 4gb VRAM
SSD: 512gb
It says that there is a HDD slot and also another RAM slot but, I don't really know the "specs" of these things so they can be compatible if that makes sense?
Like if the hdd needs to be certain inches or the RAM need to be a certain thing?
(Sorry for the poor grammar, english is not my first language)

    Good day My Friend.
    Your system requires DDR4 SoDIMM.
Any RAM speed will do. 2133, 2400, 2666, 3200 etc.
As the RAMs will automatically adjust their clocks, timing and speed to what's the lowest available as possible.
Eg. if you have a stock RAM 8GB-2400, if ever you bought a 16GB-3200.
Your 16GB will match it's clock, timing and speed to your 8GB which is 2400.
So, as a pair it would be 8GB-2400+16GB-2400/3200.

On your HDD slot. You can either choose a 2.5" SATA HDD of 512GB/1TB/2TB/4TB of storage or you can install another 2.5" SATA SSD of 120GB/128GB/240GB/256GB/480GB/512GB/960GB/1TB/2TB of storage.

Additional Notes: Know first if your Stock 512GB SSD is a 2.5" SATA Drive or M.2 NGFF/Optane SSD.

Thanks a lot, how do i know if my stock is a 2.5 inch SATA or M.2 NGFF/Optane ?
I know there is an Optane Pinning Explorer Extensions app installed on my laptop, maybe it has something to do with that?
