Will a Mini DTX Motherboard work with a P03-600?

I’m thinking in a year or two I want to upgrade my CPU as well as RAM. I opened my PC and the motherboard form factor looks like DTX. The problem is, especially where I live, DTX motherboards are very scarce and usually are b360, while I would want a b450. Does micro-DTX work? It has the mounting points in the same places it’s just smaller. The front ports probably wouldn’t work anymore but I’m fine with that.

If you want to upgrade your mainboard then the governing factor is the internal dimensions and size of the case of the P03-600? That is your determining factor and then you can determine the size of your appropriate mainboard?

A DTX mainboard is 8.0” x 9.6” and the uATX is 9.0” x 9.6” and an ATX is 12.0” x 9.6” the only difference is the width of the mainboard that will govern to what you can upgrade to and of course some of the front ports which allot will be the same and will work.

Measure the internal size of the P03-600 case and if a uATX or ATX will fit? Then, buy the appropriate mainboard as you can’t do anything else if the size doesn’t fit. A B450 chipset is will govern the CPU and RAM that you can have, have a look at the main mainboard manufacturers as they have specs of their mainboards and what chipset, form factor that they can accommodate, simple.
