Constant Frame Drops Acer nitro AN515-52

I am able to play games smoothly with the Acer nitro 5 for a few minutes, but after 5-10 minutes the frames drop from 60 to 10 or 5 and later on goes back to 60 but may take a minute. I'm not sure why it happens but my main guess is probably the temperature because it can reach up to 94 when gaming. Is there a way to fix this because it's been working well for a few weeks but now I get frame drops every minute.

Model: AN515-52 (i7-8750h) (gtx1060)

Forgot to tag you, let me know if you manage to fix this. Does your PC also have a high temp even if you are only browsing with high fan speed?
Yes it usually goes to 5000+ RPM when I'm doing nothing but I changed the power plan and the temperatures only go very high when I'm gaming. I get frame drops all the time which probably has something to do with the temps but I'm kind of disappointed that I bought a gaming laptop but my brothers aspire works better than mine in gaming.
What did you change that helped with the temperature? mine is very high even if I am doing nothing. Please let me know what you did exactly maybe it can help me

My power plan was at high performance and my fans were always going 5000+ even idle. I just changed it back to balanced and now my temps are around 60-80 on idle and when gaming it goes over 90.
Which I believe is still high no? It seems a lot of Acer products are facing with this issue but not surely quite if all since I've seen some people with 40 degrees which is pretty low and that's how it should be since the max is probably 100 degrees and is really bad if it stays this way for the long run
Try heading to power plan and changing the maximum processor state to 95% from 100% while plugged in and see if that makes a difference for you because it did for me
Let me know if it does!

The same is happening to me as well and a lot of other people the way I can see from the posts on this forum, looks like it's Acer issue at this point and we must get an answer at the soonest.

Yes it was about ~20 Degrees difference which is pretty good.
You can even put it at 99% it would still be somewhat the same, it "might" lower performance slightly but if you notice any changes or if you are playing heavy games and notice a difference you can always put it back at 100%
Mine is currently at 85% because I am not playing heavy games on it and I shouldn't need more than 85% of the CPU

    Glad it helped!
