  • Hi,
You need to send it for a service, contact Acer support centre in your region or take it to a local laptop repair shop.

That gap is because your “Top Case Cover” screw in mounting point is broken and that part of the top case has come lose near the hinge where there is allot of movement. You can take it to an Acer Service so that they can replace the top cover or order a new top cover (which is pretty cheap) and change it yourself? This has happened to me with an Aspire V3-571G at the same corner as your photo shows and I tried to repair it with JB Weld but it broke again, so I replaced the top cover. To repair the broken point use  the quick dry “JB Weld” which could work 85% of times or may not, good luck.
