Can I upgrade my CPU? - Acer Nitro N50-600

I have the Acer Nitro N50-600 with an Intel I5-8400. I upgraded the GTX 1050TI GPU that was in it when I purchased it and replaced that with an RTX 2070. Now I would like to put a new CPU in it, an Intel i7 of some sort, but I don't know which are compatible?

Hi,
You can upgrade to a i7-8700 and it will work, there's an outside chance a i7-9700 might work but can not confirm as others had problem with i7-9700.
