Hello guys
I am considering switching my RTX 2080 to new Radeon 6800 XT, the only problem is G-Sync technology in monitor Acer Predator XB271HUbmiprz
Is there some option to avoid tearing on screen using Radeon card and this G-Sync monitor?

Not really, the Radeon needs a FreeSync monitor.

Is there a possibility of a firmware upgrade for the XB271HUbmiprz to support FreeSync? Because I am in the same situation and if not, I will have to sell it and search for a new monitor that does support both FreeSync and G-Sync. I want to have choice regarding my GPU.

I'm in the same boat as you.  I was an early adopter of the Predator X27 and don't have FreeSync.  Ridiculous.
