Earphone not detected as a input and output device but works fine

For some reason, the earphone connected to the 3.5mm audio jack isn't detected as a separate audio device but on my 2nd laptop, it shows as a separate audio device. The audio device of laptop speakers and mic is the same as the earphone's. Please help.

This is how Acer intended their audio driver to work. Nothing to do with Realtek or Microsoft. There is nothing you can do.
