Hello everyone, I had replaced the battery for my Acer E5 475G laptap last Sunday. I just noticed on Tuesday that my internal speakers were not working anymore. I usually mute my pc and use headset if I wanted to Iisten to audio/videos from it. I managed to record a lecture video using a screen recorder and a headset by Monday (though this might be irrelevant).  I also have a broken right speaker before I put the new battery. I tried reconnecting/disconnecting the wire on the back panel but it seems that it has not worked. I also noticed that there was a small spark upon reviewing the video I recorded when I attached the new battery to the MoBo. Is this the cause of the eventual death of my internal speakers? Can you guys help me out with some other troubleshooting? But my best guess to this issue at hand is my hardware.

Your responses will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Did you also have charger plugged when you changed the battery? Open ControlPanel. Search 'sound'. Click 'change sound card settings' in left pane. Is speaker icon green checked. If yes, click on it and click properties button. Click general tab. Are speakers enabled? Jack E/NJ
