Can't install Windows 8.1 on Acer Aspire 5749 in UEFI mode

I've tried different ways of installing Windows in UEFI mode but it seems it is impossible. I'm not aware if my laptop model supports only Legacy but correct me if I'm wrong.

I formated Windows 8.1 iso file to USB with Rufus FAT32 and GPT but when I tried to boot only black screen shows and it gets stuck there. I've even tried NTFS but it didn't work.

Also I've even set supervisor password but options for boot mode(UEFI or Legacy) and secure boot aren't available in bios version currently I have which is V1.08

Is there something I can do to install Windows in UEFI mode instead of Legacy mode?

The iso USB stick must be prepared for a FAT32-fomatted MBR-partitioned HDD or SSD, NOT GPT partitioned. Jack E/NJ

Rufus only allows GPT partition scheme for UEFI (only and not for CSM) and it doesn't work for me as I said it just gets in black screen while booting.

When I use MBR as partition scheme it boots in Legacy mode only by default and instead of UEFI.

I've tried using Windows media creation tool and even then it still goes into Legacy mode by default.

There isn't single option in BIOS that allows you to select UEFI or BIOS boot option mode.

I don't think you understood my question.

I want to install Windows in UEFI not in Legacy mode. MBR is only for Legacy while GPT is only for UEFI.

When I format the usb with GPT Windows 8.1 does not boot. And there isn't single option for UEFI or Legacy option in BIOS I have which is v1.08

Sorry, the Aspire 5749 is  is a legacy-only BIOS mainboard that was released before UEFI BIOS became available. A GPT disk will not boot from a legacy-only BIOS mainboard. Jack E/NJ
