Yesterday, I booted up my laptop to use it for later. It booted up normally as usual, I logged in and left it on the desktop screen and proceeded to use my phone. Suddenly, it shut down by it’s own and the sound it made was similar to if you did a hard shut down. I tried to turn it on again by pressing the power button. The keyboard lighted up for a split second only and the light indicator by the side of the laptop, right beside the charging indicator, only lighted up for a few seconds, about 5-6 seconds. I tried to listen to what was going on inside when I tried to fire it up, I didn’t hear much, the fans did not start up at all. I thought that this was just overheating, so I left it and decided to see if it will work normally the next morning. But unfortunately, it was still the same. How can I solve this problem?

That sounds like a serious hardware issue. You need to take that into a shop ASAP because that sounds like your cpu has died and the battery along with it. If you plug it in does the charge light still appear? If not, take it to get repaired immediately. It could be some extreme overheat problem as well. Was there a power surge recenetly. If not, is the computer old? Take that into a repair shop, it'll be expensive but better than buying a new one(I'd assume)

Hi thanks for replying! Yes the charge light does appear when I plug the charger in my laptop. There wasn’t a power surge recently and the computer is only 1-2 years old. I’ve been planning to take it into the repair shop.
