Can my laptop support an nvme boot drive? Aspire E5-576G

Hello, I've found conflicting answers and would like to try and clarify my concern. I have an Acer Aspire E5-576G
I'd like to replace my existing drive with a spare nvme pcie 3x4 (M key) drive that I have. My spare drive supports 
read speeds up to 2,200MB/s and write speeds up to 1,600MB/s.
My other question is (if I can upgrade my storage drive) will I get the full speed and 4 lanes from the nvme drive.
