Hi,
I bought this 18 months ago (Argos) and it has only had light use (1-2 times a week), all the software was up to date and the battery charged.
After about 10 minutes on Monday night, it just died and won't turn on.
No lights come on.
I have tried two different working power packs, but still nothing. I have tried re-setting the battery using a paper-clip in the small hole in the back, but still nothing.
Acer don't respond to emails.
Would anybody be able to advise me as to what I can do to get this sorted out, please?

Remove the charger. Remove 10 screws from the bottom cover. Pry the cover off with your fingernails or credit card plastic starting from bottom side of the keyboard. Check to see if you have a spring loaded safety switch button installed on your mainboard near the RAM module socket. This switch button must be pressed hard enough by the bottom cover when assembled properly. If not pressed hard enough, no power will reach the mainboard. Tape a spacer on the inside of the bottom cover so it will press the switch button harder. Jack E/NJ

Check your safety switch as earlier posted, not the battery resest switch. Jack E/NJ
