Nitro AN515-42 - USB boot option not available

I cloned my windows hard disk to an external USB SSD. I was able to use this to boot up into my Predator laptop. But when I try to do the same in my Nitro, it doesn't even recognize my external SSD in BIOS (this reflects with USB SSD not showing up when i do F12 during start up).
Predator BIOS is set to legacy, Nitro has only UEFI (no legacy option even if i set the master password).
Anyone able to boot up via USB on to their Nitro?

New bios version no longer support legacy feature.

To boot in external usb ssd you need to convert it to GPT(partition)

True, that is understandable. My Predator boot drive was MBR. So i used my Nitro boot drive (GPT) as source now and cloned the disk to the external SSD.
It did now show up my USB under bootable drives in F12 screen.
I then selected USB for booting up in F12. This took it and started loading windows - but after a few seconds errored out to blue screen with the message "inaccessible boot device". Sigh!

1)Try to change sata mode from bios then save and exit
(change sata mode to default if step 1 didn't work now)
2)Try to Restore Windows option in the recovery menu

I gave up on it. I wanted to keep it as a travel ready one. But now i felt i could just keep a linux bootable as a standby and windows in a VM. Makes my life easier. thank you sir.
