When I play games on my s240hl abd monitor, I can see flickering horizontal lines all up and down the screen. This only happens on games, and doesn't show up on loading screens. All of the drivers are updated. I'm using Windows 10.

@GravyLocomotive which port are you using? Have you tried a better cable yet?

    Hi @GravyLocomotive

Remove all the cables from the monitor. Press and hold down the power button for about 30 to 40 secs. Connect the monitor back to the computer and check with it.

Hope it will help you in some way.

Shutdown the monitor. Disconnect the all cable and press and hole the power button for 30 seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Reconnect all the cable  and power On the monitor. Hopefully it should work.

@billsey VGA. I haven't. Both my graphics card and monitor have a DVI port though. Do you think a new cable would fix this? Thank you, everyone for your assistance!

@billsey Thank you! Thank you! This solved it. For anyone who Googles this in the future, I was using a VGA to VGA cable and a DVI adapter for my graphics card port. I bought a simple DVI to DVI for about $10 and the constant flickering lines are gone.
