Hi,

This question is not specific to Acer but in the context that I am considering buying an Acer 32 inch 4K monitor that supports 60Hz refresh rate.
Unfortunately, I don't have DisplayPort on my laptop which supports 4K@60hz , only an HDMI 1.4 port which supports 4K at only 30Hz. My processor and integrated graphics (Intel i5 10th gen with integrated UHD graphics card does support 4K @ 60Hz. But I am limited by the HDMI 1.4 port capabilities)

My question is whether 30hz refresh rate is good enough for a 32 inch 4K display ? Anyone has experience using this config and would like to give me your views ?

Thanks

It depends entirely on your use... 30Hz is the pits for gaming in real time, but likely just fine for spreadsheets or static graphic design.
