I've read a thousand responses to similar questions but none of the situations seem to fix mine --  I am not on NVIDIA.......        Radeon graphics   ---------    I tried Ubuntu 20 also..   same problem --  monitor is not  communicating with  laptop.  I  checked updates for AMD drivers  available on  SYN PKGMAN -- that's  up to date..     everything on the install is working well ..  except video output.  I tried DL  and install AMD drivers directly but that led to  destroyin my boot process and had to reinstall..  1 question;  is this Radeon graphics similar to previous versions ??   Has it been solved in earlier versions?  Is it possible downgrading  my linux version could help??    or downgrading driver??  I am  guessing some of the previous fixes did work --  but that since I am running a new machine with a new install I am  experienceing a similar problem  that may need a fresh tweek to fix....

Please help me fix this.  This laptop is almost useless to me without additional monitors -  I need one on HDMI  and one on USBC --

cables and monitoirs are new -  and cross tested on other laptop-  so they are not the prblem

Thanks!
