Realtek Audio Driver issue - Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52)

Hi,

I have a Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52). I am facing issues with the Audio driver on my computer. Whenever I connect a headphone to the laptop, I get a pop-up to select the device I have connected. No matter what device I select either Heaphone/Headset the Headset is not detected properly, which causes issues for me while playing games as the Microphone doesn't work properly. I have already tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling the drivers. I selected the option delete driver software downloaded the drivers from Acer website and installed it, no joy.

Interesting part is when I try to install the Audio Console driver, I get the error Driver UWP install process failed with ERROR code 740. Below is a screenshot:

I have tried to reset the Realtek Audio Console app, as well as uninstalling it and reinstalling it from Microsoft Store. But still the issue remains same.

Remember, the Headphone works fine on other devices like my mobile and other laptop, so there is no issue with the Headphone.

Do not provide any generic steps as I have already tried them.

Your laptop likely has no headset problems to begin with. Acer decides to combine the internal mic and headset mic under a single name (mic array). You need to adjust the headset mic's sensitivity and levels.

I tried what was mentioned in the post but I didn't feel any difference. When I speak something using the headset mic the bar doesn't move much in the Recording tab in the Sound Control Panel. Any other suggestions?

Try toggling exclusive mode and all the other settings (like bitrate and sample rate). Set it to a different setting, reboot see if it works. Then set it back to the original setting, reboot see if it works.

Hi, I am also experiencing the exact same problems ever since October 30. I have already factory reset my laptop but to no avail, succeeded in resolving this issue.

Nikkuu im having those sound issues because of realtek drivers.. i even though that i have a problem with my ears ;/ try this: first disable driver signatures from windows boot then uninstall realtek driver in device manager, by default windows high definition audio will be installed.. and use any spatial sound app like windows sonic, i'm using Boom3D..

Acer Nitro 5, driver Audio Console Driver(Acer Purified Voice Console) from official website, same problem "error driver uwp install process failed with error code -1051262696".

There is usually no need to install the uwp file itself. Install using installer. If it failed to install, you may be not in adminstrator account or that the installer is restricted to some specific os version.

Install the various acer audio drivers — MUST use the setup.exe or the cmd line installer script. Then run microsoft store, it should download the acer purified voice console itself. The uwp installation file is ususally provided just in case that you don't have access to the microsoft store.

I was installing running .cmd or .bat files only that are provided within drivers folder. So what are you saing, if I already have an app "acer purivided voice console" that means I don't need to install this driver? I don't know what it's for, I was just installing all the drivers from official support website
