Hi,

My Predator 15 G9-591-70VM's Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Bluetooth 4.1 card will pair to various headphones, but the transmitted sound is only audible less than 1 foot from the laptop. When the paired headphones are placed just over the keyboard, the sound is clear. If I back them away 6 inches I hear very intermittent sound, as if it's breaking every 0.2 seconds the noise floor. I've turned off my router and unplugged all USB 3.0 connections to rule out interference. I've also tried several drivers for the Bluetooth card, with no success. The Windows 10 power settings are set to Max Performance for the Bluetooth card. Does anyone have a suggest fix?

Thanks for your help!
Kyle

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I updated the Killer Wireless AC 1535 driver as well. It's driver version is 12.0.0.954 (06July2020).

Initially, I used a program called Driver Easy Pro to update every driver on my laptop. I just ran a clean install of Killer Network Control Center as you suggested. Unfortunately it made no change to my Bluetooth performance issue. I'm still able to pair, but only hear audio over the headphones when my the headphones are <1 foot from the laptop.
