Found an option in "Acer's quick access" named "Color intelligence". I like the implementation of this specifically on low brightness levels. The problem here is that it only works on "plugged in" mode. I was wondering if there's anyway I can get this to work on battery mode? Also is that similar to HDR in anyway? because i am not getting hdr option in youtube in neither chrome nor edge, but this is somewhat close to that.
Regards,
Kritin.

Open ControlPanel. Search 'power plan'. Click 'edit power plan' in left pane. Click 'change advance power settings'. Make sure adaptive brightness settings are both turned on. Jack E/NJ

Hey Jack, thanks for your reply. I don't have these options in my drop down.

Try changing the power plan dropdown to see if it appears. Jack E/NJ

Nope. Nether in Acer nor in Balanced power plan. 😓

Open ControlPanel again. Search 'power plan'. Click 'choose a power plan' in left pane. Change from Balanced mode to performance mode,  See if adaptive brightness pops up in the advanced settings. If not, right click on a  blank desktop space. Do you see any Intel, ACER or nvidia graphics control panels? Jack E/NJ

Thanks for your reply again. Have created another power plan and no success there. Yes i do have Nvidia control panel on right click in blank desktop. I think maybe its because of any faulty driver?

Sorry I don't follow. What option are we looking for?

Sorry. I don't have that version. You will have to experiment with those settings especially with choosing the preferred graphics instead of auto-select. The GTX graphics is likely to give you the options of adaptive settings that was missing from your advanced settings in Windows power plan mentioned earlier. Jack E/NJ
