Firstly, if it’s an i3-380M socket G1, which I’m certain that it is as I've just upgraded an Aspire 5750G and that was a socket G1 (as the i3-380M socket BGA1288 is not) then you can upgrade it very easy!

My suggestion is (if you can get one?) is to upgrade your Acer Aspire 5745G to a Core i7-640M type CPU (specs - 2 core/4 thread/2.8 to 3.467GHz/512KB to 4MB cache/35W-TDP) as this CPU is the full max spec Intel i7 for the Aspire 5745G socket G1 laptop and it will work. It will give you an increase relative performance of 25% to your OEM i3-380M CPU.

You should also look at increasing your RAM to 8GB (2x sticks of 4GB) DDR3L-1600MHz and adding a 2.5 SATA SSD drive which overall will give you substantial increase in performance. I’ve done lots of mods of these older Aspirer’s like your 5745G, 5750 etc and they work excellently and adequately with the latest version of Win-10.

    Thank you friend
But are there less options than Core i 7 because it is expensive and I did not find this type in the market?

Which processor can you get? Have a look on eBay they have the “Intel Core i7-640M 2.8 GHz 2-Core Processor 4M Laptop CPU G1 SLBTN HM55 HM57” its only USD $55 that is not expensive.

As the compatible processor socket G1’s are here on CPU-UPGRADE: https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Core_i3_Mobile/i3-380M_(PGA988).html see if you can get any of the Core i5’s from the Core i5-430M or Core i7’s like the Core i7-620M as the old Core i3’s are pretty slow and haven’t got the processing power needed for the modern and latest Win-10 version 2004 and beyond. That is why I suggested that you also upgrade to an SSD and more and a faster RAM.

This is the Intel Core i7-640M and what it looks like

    eBay add for the
    Core i7-640M
