Can you access the bios on a Nitro 5 without the LCD or keyboard?

Hi, I recently got a 2017 Nitro 5 that had a broken LCD and a badly beaten up shell, but where the motherboard still worked. I would like to Frankenstein it into a desktop, but need to get into the bios first. Current problem is that despite being able to get into Windows, the bios never displays through the single HDMI out, and I can't get it to switch over.

Any ideas on how to get the bios to show would be super appreciated. Again I have neither a working keyboard or LCD, its its currently on life support hooked up only to hdmi & power, and a wireless keyboard/mouse.

I suggest disconnecting the LCD Screen from the motherboard, forcing the display output through the hdmi.

I also suggest trying the method of swithing on the laptop then closing the lid of the laptop. But first, you need to switch the action for closing the lid to do nothing. It may not always work though.

I pasted a link below that will help you with finding the option for windows 10 devices.

There is no way as the laptop POST always with the iGPU, and I am sayng no way because BIOS is locked and you can`t disable the dGPU. Only solution is to connect your monitor to the eDP connector on the MB somehow.

@batmalin, my old dell laptop sometimes POSTs on the connected external monitor via hdmi. I dont necessarily know why or how, just that I need to close the lid as soon as possible upon turning it on. My old dell laptop also has an iGPU and a dGPU.
