Hello, I recently purchased an Acer Spin 2 in 1 laptop about 3 months ago.
I've noticed that the battery dies extremely fast, despite the specs saying it has up to 13 hours battery life.
For example, I currently have 70% battery, my battery saver activated, running only google chrome, and still only have 2 hours of battery life left.
Is this normal? Or should I get a replacement?

Thanks!

There are many, many factors that go into battery life, and often the issue isn't the battery or charger it's instead just the battery or OS getting confused and reporting bogus data.
First if your Spin has a battery reset hole try a battery reset. Shut down and disconnect power then use a bent paperclip or such to press and hold the reset button for 15-30 seconds. Release the button and wait 15-30 minutes and reconnect the power. Wait until it indicates a full charge and turn it back on. Check to see if that helps in giving good data.
If that's not enough do a battery calibration in Windows. Disconnect power and run the laptop until it shuts down on it's own due to low battery. Reconnect power and wait until it indicate full charge, then turn it back on. Rinse and repeat... It often takes two or three times through before the number get normal again. I typically try to do a recalibration about once a quarter with my systems.
Let us know how that works out and if we need to go deeper into actually power usage.

Thank you for the response! But I'm afraid it's not a software issue. I did some experimentation and got 3hours 3 minutes of battery life from 100% until my computer died. This was with regular usage, ie. web browsing, notetaking, etc. Most likely a faulty battery from the manufacturer?

    Thanks
