I need help

Bought an Aspire A315-42 with Windows 10 Home. 
After some small installations I have 429 GB free space. 
I have always done a partition so I had a drive (sort of 100 GB) where I can store my files and photos. Yes I am old and oldfashion and don't trust the clouds. 
I tried to do a partition but cant sort it. 
Any of you that know if it will work or not - I am soon getting crazy

Hi,
Go to Disk Management, right click the space where you want to create a new partition, select shrink, right click unallocated space and select New simple volume and give it a drive letter, you need to make sure that the partition you are shrinking should be at the end of the Disk, like mine.
