While taking a picture of a personal Postal Money Order for Legal Purposes an unknown remote source took compulsory pictures that were not seen on the Camera Roll. I was using a Guest Wifi at the Red Carpet Inn, 500 Northern Blvd., Albany, NY, 12204 as a Guest residing in a Red Carpet Inn Room. What can be done to stop unwanted remote interaction with the Laptop Camera function.

Always run the current version of your antivirus software and don't click on suspicious links or respond to popups. To access your camera someone has to get into your computer, which means they have to have some malware installed. They can't do it with just a network connection unless there's something already there for them to connect to.
