Lag with Helios 300 (2020 Model) - even when typing/browsing

Hello everyone,

i purchased a brand new Helios 300 about a month ago.

Problem:

However, i am getting these annoying lags when i am using simple programs like Word or browsing on the web (tried both Firefox and Chrome).

It seems like whenever i open a new tab or word doc i get an "initial lag".

For instance, if i search something on google and start scrolling, half way through it freezes (lags) and then goes/snaps back to normal.

Same with Word. I open a new Word doc, start typing, and half way through the first sentence it freezes - i.e. i am typing but nothing shows - and then goes back to normal and finishes the sentence.

If almost feels like a hiccup. Very annoying, because it happens whenever i open a new tab and sometimes occurs even randomly.

Attempted solutions:

Updated all software, optimized machine using this tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTPMwQKlfPE&t=452s), set power mode to best performance... not helping.

Any ideas?

Ok, so after a bit of research it is definitely the dual Intel GPU problem - which has been active for the past 3 years!

I've installed TrayPwrD3, but problem is still occurring.

Are there any other, more effective solutions?

I'm just shocked this problem is still happening with new laptops, even after 3 years
