I have an issue every time after reboot from windows 10 (also happened during installation of the OS), the pc is not booted even into bois screen, just a black screen, the hard disk indicator (blue light) is not on. It could be booted again after the power cable is pulled out for quite long time (several hours or one day), then pluged back in. Is it something to do with the CMOS battery? The PC is quite old, Acer Aspire AM3470-EB30P, with AMD A8-3800 (quad-cores) APU, 8 GB memory. Once it is in the wondows OS, it still working fine until next reboot. Can anyone please help on that? Thanks!

Since your PC is a desktop, I'll bet it has only one battery and it is the CR2032 type. If the PC is more than 7 years old and is running on original battery , there is good chance changing the battery will solve the problem. However, low battery will generally give "Checksum Error" during bootup. One more possible cause is the power switch. If your problem persist after replacing the CMOS battery and power switch, then I'll say your BIOS is going.
