I am facing major frequent fps drops in 99% of the games. How do I fix it? Nitro 5 an515-5.

I am facing fps drops since the very first day I bought my laptop. My model is Nitro 5 an515-5. Specs are 256 GB of SSd, 1 TB of HDD, 16 GB of DDR4 Ram, GTX 1050 4 GB, and i5-8300H CPU. I have tried everything to prevent fps drops. I read about thermal throttle and I checked my cpu's temp when I play games and it was above 90, I undervolted it and it did lower the cpu's temp but that did not stop the fps lag. I tried setting max settings for performance for games in Nvidia Control Panel, but that only helped in very few games. I saw a thread saying putting games in ssd will help eliminating the issue. That didn't work for me. I can run a lot of my games with 60 fps but the random frequent fps lag is what kills the fun. How do I fix this? I would really appreciate any help.

Have you tried updating or reinstalling the latest Nvidia and Intel display drivers? Based on my experience, you have to let Microsoft release new firmware and CPU updates for Intel as manually installing those don't do anything, but Intel Graphics is exempt.

How long have you had your laptop? You may need to consider re-applying thermal paste for the i5 or using a thermal pad. Though pads aren't as effective but are easier to place inside the laptop. You can try looking to get a laptop fan cooler which can help reduce overheating too.
I have done that twice. It didn't solve the issue. I bought the laptop in January I remember. it's new but for some reason has these issues since day one.

Have you tried reinstalling or resetting Windows? If it was like that day one then it's probably a manufacturer defect and you should contact Acer to get it replaced.

Do all the games you play have lag spikes? Or just specific games or more demanding titles?
most of the games suffer from lag spikes. I tried reinstalling windows and it didn't work. I bought the lap in this Jan and I lost my warranty paper unfortunately so I can't replace/fix from the store that I bought it from.

You can still contact Acer themselves instead of the store and have them fix it for you as long as the warranty hasn't been voided. If you did buy it in January, then a full year hasn't been up and it isn't too late.
does upgrading your ram void the warranty? because I upgraded mine
