well if laptop body is metal and you are touching laptop when you are touching wall or floor it is possible because you might not have proper earthing at home. but these are really small you will feel them mostly on sensitive part of skin like back of your hand.

I am sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with your Acer product (Triton 300), can you please give us the specific model name of your unit?
    [ExampleModel Name: PT315-52-729T]
Bottom of your lap. you have a barcode with some information like the serial numbers etc. it also has the model name/number of your product. Can you please share that with us?

Where was your holiday trip? and were you from (home)?
Many things can cause this as pulkitking24 mentioned, maybe a change of the voltage or the lap getting to much power to it caused it.

    1. Please try doing a power reset to free any excessive power accumulated possibly in the motherboard.

    2. If the situation persists, i can recommend you to contact your local Acer support channels for better assistance (a technician might need to take a look at it to be able to make a diagnosis).

    Thanks in advance,

Why does my predator laptop have electric shocks? Is there a problem with the unit itself?

vhic7 no theres nothing wrong with the laptop whats wrong its with your house/building thats not properly grounded thats the main reason why u and everyone else here gets static shocks so make sure you get a proper electrician (who knows exactly what they are doing) to measure your ground values and ground your house/building/sockets properly and yes the ground values have to meet certain values its not as everyone thinks that just stick a copper rod in the ground somewhere with a wire to the house/sockets and its done doesnt work that way i can say it by personal experience as i had made many electrician ground work in the past also its very important to have a proper grounded building as if theres a really bad  electric thunderstorm wont burn everything connected to the sockets it will discharge to the ground  :)
