Acer Aspire S7 - How to install Windows 7?

I just unpacked my shining new S7 - and love it!

 

The big problem is that I discovered that Office 2003 is no longer supported by Windows 8. 

 

I could live with the ugly Metro UI, because of all the great software that disables it, but I cannot live without Word 2003, because this is the primary reason why I bought the laptop. 

 

I am looking for a definitive answer whether I could install Windows 7 from an image file onto my S7?

 

Will the touch screen still work? 

 

Will I run into any issues?

 

Are there work arounds?

 

PS I have seen several threads here but they are all older and appear to refer to pre-release versions. 

 

Acer's website does not contain a link to download anything for Windows 7.

 

Please help!
