Acer aspire 3 a315-51-581x it turned off and won't fully start back up.

Hello. I've owned my acer aspire 3 for over a year now. And last night it turned off and won't fully start back up. So what happens is everytime I go to turn it on. The power indicator flashes once, screen comes on but its blank and goes off as soon as it tries to start up and then it continues to try and it repeats.
I've done a battery reset.  Cleaned the ram. Tried an old working hard drive and tried without the battery(just power supply) with the battery taken out and nothing has worked so far. 

Could someone please give me some help 😭

Let's do this again only try it this way. Press and hold the power button till the machine shuts off. About 5-10 seconds. Then remove the charger. Then gently press and hold a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole on the bottom for aboutr 30 seconds. At the same time you're holding the paperclip, press and hold the power button. Then plug the charger back in. Don't try to turn the machine back on until the battery charge LED turns from orange to blue. This might take several hours. After the charge LED turns blue, then try to turn the machine back on. Jack E/NJ

Thanks for the reply Jack! I have tried doing this but it still doesn't come on. Its constantly trying to turn on by itself but you can hear a beep each time and it shuts off and repeats 😭  i will continue to try this method again tonight after work!

Do you hear the beep if the machine is unplugged? What is the full aspire 3 model number? A31x-xx??? Jack E/NJ

Yeah it'll beep even while unplugged. Itll constantly beep until the battery is dead or I turn it off. The model is a315-51-581x. I've barely used it since I've had it and its only recently I've started using it.

It sounds like the BIOS has detected a hardware failure. Possibly a RAM module. Or the hard drive. Does the beep seem to have a code? Or does it sound random or just a long series of equally spaced beeps? Jack E/NJ

I've noticed it only beeps once when it fails to start up. Its like the hardrive is trying to start but then it fails and shuts off. I've tried it with an old hard drive and it does the same but I'll need to order another ram to try it with.

Simply try to re-seat the RAM module a few times to help clean its contacts. Jack E/NJ

I've taken apart the laptop and made sure every component is attached correctly as I noticed if I am correct it was the keyboard not connected properly. Its currently without the battery and it did fail to start up 3 times with a long beep but it is now back working. So going to put the battery back in and see if it turns on😁

Yes, the KB could also cause an intermittent issue like this. Perhaps reseating the KB connector a few times more is advisable. And any other connector that's readily accessible. The HDD, the RAM module, any USB or other ribbon cable connectors. Jack E/NJ

It’s maybe overheating. Could have been hate dropped my an ex in a hardwood floor when u were sleeping at 324 am and it knocked the thermal 1.2 replace paste. And it’s causing the machine to overheat and sense that it has a major issue so it shuts itself down. The blinking light indicated to me that it has internal issues so I may just be right on this one. Ten dollar eBay thermal paste. Rubbing alcohol. Clean up the old paste completely. Don’t be afraid to touch the pretty blue acer components with that alcohol applicator. Clean it up good. Replace the paste. Put ER back together at specification. Reassure all screws are going back in the right places. Flip it. Kick it. Hit the power button and don’t bother crossing your fingers bc I already figured all this ***** out. BOOM
