I have an Acer Predator G3-710, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz, 16 GB that for the past few days has been overheating to the point i cannot play a single game without the temperatures going into the RED. Sitting idle the CPU runs at @ 48-50%, GPU runs at @ 46-48%. Log one game in and the CPU & GPU hit 78-90%. Can someone help please

What actual temperatures are you seeing? What else is running in the background? What does Task Managers Performance tab show as the biggest loads?

the first screen shot is when pc is sitting idle, the second is when the following apps are running. for some reason google chrome says im running 9 when I actually only have 2 tabs open, the Opera also is saying im running 7 but i only have 1 tab running. i have no other software running. I also have turbo boost (for gaming) on in Advanced system care, which i always have set when gaming

OK, those CPU numbers are high for an idle system. It says the CPU fan is running, you should physically look to verify that. Next step is to look closely at the heatsink to make sure it's not clogged with dust. Step after that is likely to replace the thermal compound between the heat sink and CPU, as the grease ages it loses some of the thermal conductivity. Use a good quality and clean both sides well before putting a pea sized drop between them and reassembling. The extra tasks in Chrome and Opera may be addons running in the background, or you might have some malware running, so a scan is a good idea.
