I was having an issue where camera seems to work sometimes and other times system cannot detect camera, tried everything i could found on the internet but nothing helped. At last i plugged my external webcam from PC to laptop suddenly my camera started working *yes laptop integrated camera* don't know how but weirdly it did work even though not for long next day same issue again. Plugging in and out external camera seems to fix this issue temporarily.
Later came across a comment by
@egydiocoelho as quoted "After some further testing of the camera, I noticed that if I titled the top part of laptop back (the entirety of the screen part) and put it at its most "open" spot, the camera would suddenly turn on and function just fine. If I tilt it back towards me a tad, the camera will continue to work, but I can see noticeable "tears" and odd glitchiness/strange colors showing up across the screen. If I then continue to tilt the laptop back towards me, the camera will cease to work at all."
Whatever he said seems right, i tried opening lid back and forth while camera turned on and what i noticed is that my camera disconnects at certain degrees mostly  between (0-90) degrees beyond that camera works fine. I would suggest anyone having similar issue to try opening lid  and closing it to see if the camera works or disconnects. This particularly seems to be an issue with the web cam cable.
