Hello.

I've wanted to upgrade my ram from my single slow 8gb 1300 something hz ram-stick to two new 3200mhz 8gb sticks.

When i tried booting my pc up after replacing my old stick with my two new, it didn't boot, and made a loud continuing beep, which apperanetely means a memory error.

After some fiddeling around, trying all four ports for the ram sticks to no awail, i put in my old ram stick again, which made the PC boot back up perfectly.

I then tried putting in one of my new sticks in the second slot, paired with my old one, and it booted perfectly again, checked my info, and it now said i had 16GB ram. Because of the old stick limiting my new sticks speed it was the same old speed, but now i had 16gb ram and everything worked. I tested both  new sticks in that second slot and it worked perfectly, so there's nothing wrong with the sticks.
Then i tried putting my second new stick in the third slot to get 24GB ram, which caused the PC not to boot again, but this time without any BEEP or error, just a black screen. i tried the fourth slot too with the same results.

If my english or sentences confuses you ill draw something up.

New ram stick 1 = N1, New ram stick 2 = N2, Old ram stick = O1
Slot 1 =S1, 2=S2, etc.

O1 - S1, N1 - S2 = OK
O1 - S1, N2 - S2 = OK
N1 - S1, N2 - S2 = Not OK.
O1 - S1, N1 - S2, N2 - S3 = Not OK.

Hope this makes any sense, and that someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
