Hello Everyone! I recently bought a laptop 2 days ago, (Acer Aspire A514 -52G) i3 10110U. This is my first time having a laptop, but I feel like battery depletion doesnt feel right. I use Google Meet for about 2 hours and 30 minutes straight with earphones on and USB mouse plugged in. I started 100% battery, I only have 2 tabs on my Google Chrome, Facebook and the Google meet and when I finished the 2 and a half hour session, only battery left was 47%. I feel like this is not right for a brand new laptop, but I don't know. I feel really uneasy about the battery depletion. Please give me clarification and tips thank you so much!

Sounds about right. Advertised battery life are usually for an idling system with very low screen brightness. You'd be lucky to get half the advertised life for what you were doing. It should improve some with cycling. You can check its design capacity with its actual capacity by  going to to the elevated command prompt.
Enter 'powercfg    /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Compare design capacity with its actual full charge capacity. Do this every few days to see if it improves. Jack E/NJ
