Greetings everyone,
After upgrading my laptop's ram to 2x8 GB, I have noticed very hot temperatures (can't even manage to hold it for five seconds or so) on the region where my ram chips are placed during heavy multitasking. I'm worried that it might shorten my components' lifespans. Should I install ram heatsinks? Or do they not help at all? Thank you.

Not the RAM. The CPU and GPU are heating up. High case temperatures are normal under heavy load for newer laptops if you get no sudden shutdowns or slowness. Only when temperatures exceed 90*C would additional cooling or repasting the CPU/GPU heatsinks be considered. Jack E.NJ
