I bought a new ram (8gb DDR4 2400MHz) and installed it, I was wandering if is there a way to change the memory speed because according to task manager it only runs at 800MHz. Here's a screenshot. Before I install the new ram, the laptop runs at 800MHz.

    Hi,
Unfortunately, you can not increase the speed of the RAM, your onboard memory on the motherboard supports up to only 1600MHz, so when you install a 2400MHz module the system will run at the lower speed of the modules.

How can I know the max ram speed compatible with my motherboard?

Install CPUz and find out the chipset of your system by going to Mainboard > Southbridge which will give you the chipset model, then lookup the AMD specs of your appropriate chipset and what RAM speed it can take.
