Does the HDMI port work with only the dedicated graphics card?

Hi,
I own this model: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7964?b=1&pn=NH.Q96EX.00N

I've connected a second monitor to it, but in the "Display adapter properties" it says that it's using the RTX graphics card all the time and at the built in display properties it says that it's using the Intel card. I don't want it to do that, it doesn't make sense and it uses a lot of power and generates a lot of heat. How can i make it so the behaviour is similar as before? (eg: use the intel card on basic tasks, use RTX just on games or other graphic intensive tasks)

That's one issue, the other one is that if i make the secondary monitor as the primary one, every single application that i open up will use the RTX graphics card, including the most basic ones. I can see that in the little tray icon that says that RTX is turned on and it also says what applications are using it.

Third one and very annoying, is that even if i disconnect the monitor and use just the built in laptop display, RTX remains on and being used by all the programs until i reboot the laptop. After a reboot it goes to sleep like it should.

Any ideas?

Thank you
