Hi,

I did a clean install on my NU-SF515-51T-57YD with windows 10 pro. I got all the drivesr from Acer website and everything works except for the sound. I can't get the sound to work. I've installed the correct audio drivers and it just doesnt work, It either says no drivers are installed on this device or I get error 28.

Maybe the acer swift audio driver isn't compatible with windows 10 pro?

check in the device manager to make sure that your audio device still shows up. You should also try and get the audio drivers uninstalled and than do a fresh install of those. Restart Your Laptop And Unisnatll The Sound Driver.

https://i.imgur.com/wn9aY9Q.png Device manager looks like this.

I've uninstalled drivers before but it's still not working. I download the drivers on the Asus site but the audio drivers doesn't have a proper .exe file install it's just a cmd .bat file that doesn't look to do much. https://i.imgur.com/P5TlQtO.png

You have to extract the zip file before running the .bat.

Uninstall the Realtek driver through “Device Manager” completely and then update driver through Device Manager > Update driver which updates directly from Microsoft drivers, yes I know you have to wait but, this will be the latest and most appropriate driver that will install and which will work for you.

A clean install of Windows 10 Pro has nothing to do with your sound driver(s) per say as and when you install Windows 10 Pro it installs the most appropriate and the latest drivers that work. If you want to see your exact audio and drivers then look under System Info > Components > Sound Device

When I extract the audio drivers from Acer site on this product I only get a .bat file. When I press it a cmd box pops up for 1s then disappears. It doesn't seem  like a proper driver instal...

The image you showed in the third message in this thread shows you trying to run the batch file from within the zip. That's why I said you need to extract the zip first...
