I have a Acer Aspire TC-885 and it will not power up .

I thought it was my power cord but I can see my modem light in the back . When I unplug I can see it’s getting some power. I think it might be the on and off button. I hope it’s easy fix. Please help 😫

You said "when you unplug you could see it getting some power", What did you see?
Is the on/off button light up?

Are you sure your PC is not in the sleep mode? Usually press on/off button on time will get it back.

If not, try press and hold the on/off button for a few seconds.

When I got my TC-885 new, it won't start up, and I was panic. What? My new PC won't work? 
After pressing the on/off button for a few seconds then it came to live.

Thank you, I can seee my modem light turn off when I unplug it. I will keep trying . I did unplug it completely. No luck yet, no lights on the keyboard come on or the mouse .

The situation you described is just like my TC-885 after shutting down. If I have my cell phone charging through my PC's USB  type-C port, the phone will be still charging after PC shutdown. You can test it with a cell phone too.

I tried with my cell phone, that how I know it wasn’t on. But I will re-try it again. It doesn’t hurt, I checked my power strip also . I will unplug everything again .

Is the power button light on? You haven't told me that is this a new PC that you never started it up properly?  Is so, contact the seller and return it. Though not likely, look at the back of the power supply, make sure the red slider indicated it is the right voltage, doesn't hurt to look.

I bought it in January. No power light in the front is on. I can only see the modem lights on in the back. You know the green lights. I unplugged for the night. Let’s see if that helps . I need my desktop to getting ready for home school my teenagers. Definitely bad timing.

So you bought the PC new in January and the power button light was never on. It took more than half year ! I think that should be still under warranty, contact Acer for that quick, otherwise you may have to paid for repair yourself. Currently I suspect the front panel power switch problem.

 The modem green light that  you mentioned, to my understanding is probably the RJ 45 connector light for Ethernet. My RJ 45 connector light is orange in color.

I was going to open the panel to check. Nothing loose in the computer . Lol . Bread New tower. Thank you for the help.
