Okay so recently I ordered this car inverter 12 volt DC to 220V AC ( 200W) car inverter from Portronics. Apparently it is a modified sine wave inverter. Is it safe to charged the laptop with this thing?

The Portronics car inverter are safe to use on laptops, they are designed for this specific application, I’ve been using them for over 12 months and haven’t had any problems and they are very good.

Thank You Steve. I was skeptical I was going to fry my adapter and eventually my laptop.
