Wondering if there were anyone who has upgraded RAM on a V-Nitro VN7-792G model who could save me a lot of time digging around to find out what RAM modules I need to buy to upgrade and what the maximum amount of memory is for this model.
I am presuming that I am looking at SODIMM form factor, but I need to know what the maximum amount of memory per slot is before I buy the modules. Any help would be appreciated :)

Good luck with that, I just upgraded mine and now have a non-functioning laptop :s:/
For some unknown reason, whomever designed the VN7-792G model put the RAM on the underside of the motherboard but didn't feel it necessary to put a panel on the casing bottom to access the RAM. Seriously there are no words to express how unimpressed with Acer I am right now for that completely fuckwitted design forcing you to remove the motherboard to do a RAM upgrade.
So to upgrade, you are going to have to strip down the laptop, remove the motherboard, replace the RAM and then put it back together.
Right now, I cannot reattach one of the connectors to the wireless card, no matter what I do, it comes loose whenever I reseat the keyboard.
The wireless card connectors are tiny and I am finding that its a massive pita to reconnect them so learn from me, when you remove the card DONT disconnect the connectors otherwise you may end up fiddling about for hours and still not able to get it back together.  Try and keep the card connected to the wires!
And now my monitor doesn't power on even though I am getting no beep codes, good job I have another laptop to use.  I cannot express how much I hate Acer right now for making what should be a very simple procedure unnecessarily complicated.
