having the same issue with 'a' I followed all steps but not working but other keys are fine. I think it is hardware issue.

I'm having the same issue as well on a client laptop (Acer Aspire V3-551) - FRESH reload of Windows - without internet connected, any external devices,  or any other software loaded.  It is acting like a key is being pressed (icons along the bottom taskbar of the screen are being cycled thru as if someone was holding a right arrow key down)   Latest BIOS confirmed - did the power drain 50 seconds, even cleaned the fan and heatsinks in case of heating issue.  This seems like a over heating issue or keyboard controller?   When I touch any key it stops and then seconds later it continues.

Any advice is much appreciated -
