Was my Aspire E5-575G originally configured using Windows 10 "Storage Spaces"?

Our Acer laptop came with a 128GB SSD (Lite-on brand M.2 SATA) and a 1TB HDD. Recently, to gain more space we replaced the SSD with a larger capacity 500GB model.

I cloned the 128GB SSD onto the new SSD then installed the new SSD. New SSD was in an external case connected to the laptop via USB cable, and we used free Macrium Reflect to achieve the clone.

Then the new SSD was in installed into the laptop in place of the original SSD. Everything works, no problem.

Since that time Windows 10 has done 2 major updates, and we're now on Win 10 Home v.1909. We've delayed getting the newest version 2004.

Another Acer owner told me that he thinks the laptop was originally configured with Storage Spaces, and that Windows Update has altered that. Can anyone confirm this, please?

Exact model: Aspire E5-575G-5341

Thanks for replying. The data corruption issue mentioned in the link you posted is definitely food for thought going forward. At present, however, you will note that my original post makes clear that we have delayed getting the v.2004 major update; thus, it is not an issue at this time.
My question remains. Does anyone know if the E5-575G series (including our specific E5-575G-5341 model) was originally configured at the factory with Storage Spaces? Or, was it simply Windows 10 on the C: drive and a secondary D: for data drive?

Sure, it should've been. It's been on ACER Win machines since 8.x! Right click on the Win start icon. Search 'storage spaces'. Should pop up as a ControlPanel app near the top of the menu. Jack E/NJ
