Hey everyone,

I have searched and searched, but I can't seem to find the fix for my specific laptop.  Big ups to Control V for helping me type this out.  If this was answered for my model, i would love to be directed there!

My Nitro 5 (17.3 inch model, Manufacture date of April 2020) has an issue with some keys not functioning

s, numpad /, numpad +, numpad 9, numpad 3, numpad 0, and delete

I have tried a reboot, uninstalling/reinstalling keyboard drivers, and switching the keyboard type in the UEFI from function to media and back.  As suggested in a thread for another model, i have also tried holding down the power button for 20 seconds to reset the battery, but nothing is working. There is nothing inside/underneath the keys, as the machine goes away when it is time eat and i spray the keyboard weekly.  Any ideas?

Open the laptop and check the KB flex cable. If that doesn`t help then most probably the KB, the flex cable or both have to be replaced.

Stop spraying the keyboard!!!!  Why would you do that?  Any moisture can cause issues with your keyboard electronics, even just heavy humidity in the air.    But this is not needed unless you are using your computer with unknown people.  Wipe your computer components with DRY CLOTHS ONLY unless you have a reason to disinfect, but this should be VERY RARE.  If you think you are cleaning off germs, and you feel you must, spray a micro-fibre cloth LIGHTLY, only on one edge, you will then wipe the keyboard, leading with the MOIST edge, followed by the dry edge so that NO MOISTURE remains for more than one second upon the keyboard.  I have been using computers for over forty years, and I can tell you that you are definitely damaging your keyboard by spraying any moisture in its vicinity.
