Hello all,
I have acer spin laptop. Model is spin SP513-52N. From past two days I am facing battery related issue. Actually I put my laptop on charging it shows plugged in but it is not charging and battery percentage is not increasing as well. Could anyone please suggest me how to solve this issue?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks in advance.

There are two things that get out of whack with the newer batteries. Either the battery gets confused about what it's status is or the OS gets confused about the same thing. When it's the battery you do a reset and that typically clears it up. Disconnect power from the laptop, press and hold the reset button on the bottom using something like a paperclip for 15-30 seconds, release the button and go enjoys your favorite beverage for 15-30 minutes, reconnect the power supply and wait for it to show full charge and then turn it back on. That process resets the internal memory on the battery and it starts over. When it's the OS you do a few calibration runs. Run the laptop on battery until is shuts down due to low charge. Plug the power in and wait for a full charging indication then turn it on. Once it's done booting disconnect the charger and repeat he process. It might take a few times through but the OS eventually has good numbers again and it doesn't shut down early like it is now. I'd try the reset first then the calibration. This is kind of a normal maintenance thing that you should do every year or so...
