Hey there, awhile ago I was having issues with my AN515-53 bluescreening more and more frequently while Windows 10 was being used. After reinstalling windows in an attempt to fix it, then downloading bluescreenviewer to see what was causing it the process ntoskml.exe was the cause for the crashes. My solution was to get a replacement SSD to replace the HDD assuming there might be some bad sectors on it, as an error on the login screen once returned saying there was.
It's been a little over a day since the SSD has been installed and there have been no bluescreens, but one thing that was consistent across both times I was bluescreening was that I undervolted the system. I'm curious if there is any possibility that undervolting could have negative lasting effects on the system? I don't honestly know if the new SSD fixed it yet and don't want to commit to undervolting again if it might ruin my system again. Has anyone undervolted their nitro 5 for awhile and can tell me how it worked out or what I should do..?
tldr
I'm undervolting since the system gets super hot if I don't, but I wanna be sure it isn't why my system was failing. How can I test to be sure it isn't?
