I've got a damaged charge port and need to solder on a new one, only I can't seem to find any official provider (or unofficial for that matter). If someone could help me find a part number or any guidance, I'd appreciate it.

What do you think is damaged on the port? This should be an industry-standard surface mount dc in barrel jack that'd likely be available in the US from component suppliers like  digikey or mouser. It would be helpful If there are any numbers imprinted on the jack's body. Otherwise the dimensions can be used to identify the part. Jack E/NJ

From the way the barrel connector can wiggle around I'm guessing it's the little leaf spring type ground contact pin inside, I can't really get enough light to be sure, but the center pin looks intact and a slightly oversized barrel connector when held right can make contact long enough to get a charge indicator. The only writing i can see is some kind of manufacturers code "9132" but that's not returning any results for me. I guess I could post a picture but I just assumed that new accounts couldn't post images here. I went on mouser earlier today and didn't see anything but I'll double check.

Here's an image of what the innards of the jack should look like with a flashlight. The usual issue is the slider contact (sometimes 2 of them 180* apart) needs to be bent more toward the center pin contact to make a good connection with the external ring contact of the barrel plug. Sometimes just pushing the barrel plug a bit more forcefully into the jack is all that's needed. Jack E/NJ

I appreciate the diagram. This jack definitely needs replacement, I might try to contact Acer directly and hopefully they'll have some part number or a source. I'd even take a used motherboard at this point.

Good idea. At least one parts board seems to be available on ebay right now.  $40 with shipping. Probably not much more than what you'll pay for a new jack. Jack E/NJ
