Acer Predator Helios 300 failed attempt to install feature update to windows update 1909

It's to the point where windows update keeps bugging me to restart and update. It updates fine but when it restarts, all i get is a black screen. i hear the startup sound and then nothing else. I'm able to power off and back on, and it undoes changes made which starts me back to square 1. Any suggestions? not really a tech guy, my apologies.

qwertyboi any reason for trying to update windows many windows feature updates fail in many devices if you were not having issues with your previous version i suggest u to stay with it and disable windows updates from updating drivers/firmware or even completely because windows updates break more than what they fix you should only update whatever u need manually and only if needed also if its not updating properly its because your device its not ready please stop trying or the update might break your OS completely and not even rollback its a windows issue if you sitll think u need to update (im still on 1809 for 2+ years no issues )contact microsoft support and report your situation its their OS they are the ones with responsibilities here but i have my doubts they would be of any help anyway  good luck
