    • when I switch my laptop on it goes on but my screen stays of

    Good day pls help my laptop couldn't load windows xp or windows 7 evan if I set cd/dvd as first boot it just loads with a white strip at the top left hand side of the screen????? advice pls

      Are you able to connect an external monitor and see the correct image?

       

      If so, there may be a problem internally with the LCD or cabling.  If not, it would be the video card.
